With his bluesy and soulful voice, Timmie Metz is a well known singer/guitarist in the DC/Baltimore/NOVA area. One of the things that makes him unique is Timmie's ability to layer sounds using a sampler, all performed live, and all done from his guitar. He is the perfect choice for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, corporate event, or rehearsal dinner.
Timmie is also available to rock it out with the full band. This includes a drummer, bassist, second guitarist, and optional musicians such as female vocals, keys, and horns. The Timmie Metz band nails it when it comes to covering the Doors, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Black Keys, and more.
“My then-fiance and I originally heard Timmie play at Clyde’s Restaurant in Georgetown. A SUPER talented acoustic guitarist and singer with a bluesie/rock/soul vibe. When I heard him, I just KNEW we had to have him play at our wedding. Prior to the wedding, I was impressed with his prompt email responses as well as his extensive play-list he sent. He was even agreeable to learning a song or two for our ceremony...how cool is that?! On our big day, he played for our ceremony and then through our cocktail hour and dinner. He was just as good if not better than when we had originally heard him!!!! My husband and I received SOOOOOOO many complements on him...he was just FANTASTIC!!! I want to go back to Clyde’s now just to hear him play again haha! :) Definitely DEFINITELY recommend his awesomeness!!!!”
