DJ’ing all types of events, Ricardo Vazquez has developed an intuition for knowing what his clients want, and how to make sure they and their guests have the time of their lives. That’s his super power!
He spins music from all genres including but not limited to: Top 40, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, Oldies, R&B, Hip-Hop, Dance Hall, EDM, Country, Latin, South Asian, and much more. Ricardo’s favorite part about being a DJ? The music…because if the music is right, everything else falls into place.

“We hired DJ Ricardo for our Wedding Cocktail Hour and Reception. In regards to planning, he has it all under control and took A TON of pressure off of us which allowed us to focus on other aspects of planning the wedding. DJ Ricardo was prompt at all the pre-wedding meetings that were held and super easy to work with when picking songs. He provided an online portal that made it SO EASY to highlight the "must-play" and the "don't-play" music. After we picked and isolate some songs for cocktail hour and dinner, he sent us over a playlist for us to check to make sure it matched what we wanted (needless to say, he nailed it!). During the event he acted as a phenomenal MC and guests always knew what was happening or coming next. He even provided up-lighting and controlled the colors from his set-up so we didn't have to worry about any of that. It was a mix between a Jewish and Spanish wedding and DJ Ricardo kept everyone involved and on the dance floor the whole night by masterfully mixing the music. Seriously... we had the venue until 11:30 and he played a little beyond that time because people were having SO much fun. “Ricardo Vazquez was absolutely wonderful; we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. The set he played at our wedding reception was better than many professional shows I've attended. When we were initially searching, we were looking for someone who was very familiar with electronic dance music, as that is what my wife and I love listening to. After a quick phone conversation with Ricardo, I knew that he was our guy. He was very knowledgeable about the artists I asked about, and had even gone to a couple of shows that these artists had put on. He certainly is not one of those guys that says he plays "everything" just to get business—Ricardo definitely knows his dance music. Leading up to the wedding, Ricardo was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He always responded quickly and clearly. About a week before our wedding, we met with him in person to discuss the details of what he would play during the ceremony, dinner, and reception. We gave him a list of requested tracks and discussed with him the type of vibe and sound we wanted at the wedding. He understood immediately and told us what he planned to do. His plan matched exactly what we had in mind. At the wedding, he definitely delivered. The music he played during dinner was perfect. I didn’t have any requests for dinner, and told him that we wanted a more laid back environment. He managed to pick out the perfect sound and some of my favorite pieces. Some of my friends came up to me during dinner and told me how much they loved what was being played. The set Ricardo played during the reception was amazing. On top of playing the tracks we requested, he added songs that fit the environment perfectly. He was able to read the crowd and to time upbeat tracks in a way that kept almost everyone on the dance floor for most of the night. I go to a lot of shows, and what Ricardo played was up there with the best of them. Several of my friends mentioned to me and to Ricardo throughout the night how much they loved the music. Another thing I really liked about working with Ricardo is that he genuinely loves what he does. We could tell that he put an incredible amount of time and effort into our wedding. He didnt just download a tracklist and hit "play”; he tailored our set perfectly. I recommend Ricardo without reservation. He was the best.
